PSYCHIARIST

The Psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating clients with various mental health conditions, offering medication management, and collaborating with other TFCS clinicians to provide holistic care.

Requirements:

  • Perform psychiatric evaluations and prescribe medications as appropriate.

  • Offer ongoing medication management and monitor client progress.

  • Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and family support teams to ensure coordinated care.

  • Document patient interactions in our EMR system in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) with a psychiatry residency from an accredited institution.

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist licensed in North Carolina.

  • 3+ years of experience in clinical psychiatry, preferably with family-focused therapy.

  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices and family mental health.

PSYCOLOGIST

The Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment to individuals and families. They will work collaboratively with the TFCS team to support clients through trauma recovery, addiction, grief, and family-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Provide individual and family therapy, employing evidence-based practices.

  • Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic testing.

  • Create treatment plans based on individual client needs and goals.

  • Collaborate with other TFCS professionals to develop a continuum of care.

  • Document patient interactions in our EMR system in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.

  • Current licensure as a Psychologist in North Carolina.

  • 2+ years of experience working with individuals and families in a clinical setting.

  • Proven expertise in trauma-informed care and family dynamics.

LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

The LCSW will provide individual and group therapy services, focusing on trauma, addiction recovery, and family healing. This role involves case management, crisis intervention, and client advocacy.

Requirements:

  • Conduct therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Perform assessments and provide crisis intervention services when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

  • Current LCSW licensure in North Carolina.

  • 2+ years of experience providing therapy and case management.

NURSE PRACITIONER 

Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care to clients dealing with mental health concerns. They will collaborate with the TFCS team to ensure comprehensive family-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments, prescribe medications, and monitor client progress.

  • Work with the clinical team to develop a holistic treatment plan.

  • Provide education to clients and families on mental health conditions and treatments.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP) with a focus on psychiatry/mental health.

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with prescriptive authority in North Carolina.

  • Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

3+ years of experience in a mental health setting, with family-focused care preferred.

LCSW INTERN

The Graduate Level Mental Health Intern will work under supervision to gain hands-on experience in providing counseling services, case management, and client support. They will have opportunities to assist with client assessments and therapeutic interventions, contributing to their professional growth in mental health care.

Requirements:

  • Assist licensed clinicians in conducting assessments and providing therapy.

  • Participate in treatment planning and support ongoing case management.

  • Engage in supervision, training, and team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program for Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling.

  • Completion of core coursework in mental health counseling.

  • Interest in family systems, trauma-informed care, and mental health services.

LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

The LP will provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, focusing on family support, trauma recovery, and mental wellness. They will develop treatment plans, conduct assessments, and facilitate group therapy sessions.

Requirements:

  • Offer individual, family, and group counseling sessions.

  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments.

  • Work collaboratively with the TFCS team to support a holistic approach to family care.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Counseling or related field from an accredited program.

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in North Carolina.

  • 2+ years of experience in a therapeutic setting, preferably with families.

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.

CERTIFIED LIFE COACH

The Life Coach at TFCS will empower clients by helping them identify and achieve personal and professional goals. Through guidance, accountability, and motivation, the Life Coach will work with clients on self-improvement, stress management, and goal-setting. This role is focused on facilitating positive change, resilience, and life satisfaction for clients, complementing the clinical support offered by the TFCS team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions to guide clients in identifying goals and creating actionable plans.

  • Provide support in areas such as stress management, career progression, personal development, and relationship building.

  • Develop customized coaching plans, monitoring progress and adjusting as needed.

  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other team members to offer a well-rounded approach to client care.

  • Document client progress and maintain confidentiality in alignment with TFCS standards.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Life Coaching from an accredited program (preferred, but not mandatory if paired with relevant experience).

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work (preferred).

  • 2+ years of experience as a Life Coach or in a similar role focused on client empowerment and goal-setting.

  • Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills, with a client-centered and empathetic approach.

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and align coaching goals with the overall treatment plan.

CASE MANAGER

Support clients and their families by coordinating care, providing resources, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and providers. This role is essential in helping families navigate their mental health journeys by connecting them with community resources and facilitating their treatment plans within TFCS.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial client assessments and create individualized service plans.

  • Coordinate with therapists, social workers, and other team members to ensure integrated care.

  • Assist clients in accessing community resources (e.g., housing, employment, financial assistance).

  • Monitor client progress, providing regular updates and documentation.

  • Offer supportive counseling, as needed, to aid clients and their families in their treatment journeys.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in case management or a related role, ideally within mental health or social services.

  • Strong knowledge of North Carolina community resources and support services.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a client-centered approach.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide family-focused care.
